Woman Shares Story to Deter Teen Drug Use
(KARE 11, April 25) Payton Troute was a teen drug addict who used movie money from her parents to buy drugs at her Minnesota high school. She started by smoking pot to fit in, and then moved to Adderall and to cocaine. She became hooked because it helped mask her anxiety, but she overdosed and spent three days on life support.
